Itchy Skin And Neck After Using Cream From The Doctor?
Hello doctor, I have a question. I’ve been using dr pure cream for two weeks. The first two days of normal skin. But a few days later the skin peels off and feels sore and hot. I stopped using it for a few days. Then I use the cream again. There is no more peeling or stinging. But what comes is the skin from the face to the neck feels itchy. Is this normal? . There are two creams that I use, a day cream and a night cream. Both have BPOM numbers. But when I checked the day cream was registered, the night cream was not registered with BPOM. How come? Even though I bought it as a set directly? Can BPOM numbers be faked? Please answer yes, thank you.
Good afternoon, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. The products you mention claim to contain vitamin C, sakura extract and sunscreen and are useful for whitening and brightening the skin. The symptoms you experience, such as peeling skin, feeling sore, hot, and itchy, are certainly not a normal reaction to cosmetic administration. However, we cannot confirm whether the product is genuine or fake, as well as the BPOM number because of the many fraudulent methods.
What is clear, you experience a skin irritation, which could be due to a certain content that is not suitable for your skin. Apart from being cosmetic, skin irritation can also be caused by:
Certain clothing materials
House and furniture cleaning
Of course, if the condition is not associated with certain cosmetic products, then the possibility is wider, such as certain skin disorders that cause accelerated peeling of the skin, allergies, and so on.
Therefore, you should stop using these cosmetics and check your skin with a doctor. At home, you can try safer skin care by using everyday natural ingredients such as:
Increase the consumption of water up to 8 glasses a day
Expand foods that contain vitamins A, C and E such as papaya, oranges, pineapple and mango
Using a mask of a mixture of honey and yogurt
