Itchy Skin Becomes Festering And Scaly?
night, I have a skin disease that has not healed more than 1 month at first only itching continued to play for long time instead it came out in the wound area and then came out again with festering fluid. I only treat at home by compressing the wound with an infusion of 0.9% NaCL and taking amoxycillin antibiotics. but my skin is better but my skin has become scaly. Are there drugs and other ways to treat my injury?
Thank you for the question.
Skin that feels itchy, then becomes festering and scaly, most often due to a skin infection. Some types of skin infections, such as impetigo, folliculitis, scabies, fungal infections, and so on can cause complaints like this. Besides infection, other factors such as contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, xerosis, etc. can also make complaints more burdensome and more difficult to cure.
Need to be clarified, have you checked your complaint to the doctor? Are the actions you take suggested directly by the doctor?
Not always a complaint like the one you experience arises because of a bacterial infection. Therefore, giving antibiotics like you do is not always right. It could be, it is precisely improper treatment that makes your complaints do not go away.
The good, do not carelessly give medicine for your complaints. First check yourself to the doctor or dermatologist to be given the right treatment. At home, the following steps can be done so that your condition improves:
Take a clean and diligent bath in the morning and evening, use antiseptic soap and good quality water
Dry your body well, then dress with clothes that are soft, loose, absorb sweat, and clean
Do not carelessly exchange personal belongings with others
Do not scratch, slough, or solve complaints that appear on the skin
Drink more water
Do not let skin contact with substances that trigger allergies or irritations
If there are other people around you who have an infectious skin infection, avoid direct or indirect contact with them
Keep the environment you live in and always clean
Hope this helps ...
