Hello, I want to ask. I experienced an itchy throat and triggered a cough until my nose felt itchy two days earlier too but it has been good but it has been repeated since yesterday, is that one of the characteristics of Covid-19? Because I live in an area that has been affected by this virus. According to the doctor what to do huh?
Hello Grace, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I will try to help answer.
Complaints of itchy throat, cough, itchy nose that had disappeared and then reappeared can be caused by:
Pharyngitis: an inflammation that occurs in the pharynx, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, itchy throat, painful swallowing, fever, cough
Laryngitis: an inflammation that occurs in the larynx, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, painful swallowing, fever and hoarseness.
Tonsillitis: an inflammation that occurs in the tonsils, can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include sore throat, painful swallowing, itchy throat, fever, cough.
While in general the symptoms occur in corona infections are:
Out of breath
A history of traveling to an area affected by a corona virus outbreak
Or make contact with people who have contracted the corona virus
If in your area there are already positive people suffering from corona, then it can be said that the area is an area that is at risk for corona virus spread. For the time being you are advised to remain silent at home, avoid contact with others for a while, use a mask if coughing, sneezing or leaving the house, wash your hands before eating, and avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth.
If complaints such as fever, coughing, scarring of the throat, shortness of breath, immediately take it to the nearest hospital to get further treatment.
Thus a brief explanation from me, hopefully can help. thanks.
