It’s Been 2 Days. My Wife Has A Headache On One Side To The Left
Good morning dock, I want to ask the possibility of my wife. It’s been 2 days my wife had a headache in one point on the left, but strangely this headache only appears when moved, in other words when silent or sleep head feels normal. Please explain doc, I’m afraid something happened, thanks doc
Thank you for the question.
Headaches that can be felt on one side can be a sign that your wife has a migraine. This migraine arises because of neurovascular disorders in the brain and its association with trigeminal nerve fibers. Not only one headache, migraines also often trigger nausea, vomiting, and other activity disorders.
It could also be that the side headache that your wife is experiencing is due to other factors, such as infection of the scalp or other organ systems, brain tumors, sinusitis, cluster headaches, tired eyes, neck nerve nerves, meningitis, torticollis, psychological disorders, hormonal disorders, tooth pain, and so on. Most of the causes of pain above can not only occur when moving the head, but can also appear at other times. The severity of pain when moving the head may be caused by excessive contraction of the head muscles when moved, but does not specifically refer to the symptoms of a particular disease.
To improve, you can encourage your wife to:
Compress warm areas that are often painful
Go to sleep early and rest more
Eat regularly, drink more
Discipline to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle
Limit the use of gadgets
Don't stress too much
Take paracetamol if the pain hasn't subsided
However, if extreme headaches occur, or are accompanied by high fever, vomiting, stiff necking, and other severe complaints, do not delay checking your wife directly to the doctor or neurologist for further treatment.
