It’s Been 5 Years Easily Feeling Tired And Bloated?
Hello..rnDoc. I’d like to ask, why has it been almost 5 years I often get tired easily and when I’m tired my stomach feels bloated to the point of shortness of breath, finally my activities are now very limited, especially now I avoid my activities that can trigger fatigue. How many times have I consulted to the doctor until some of my polyclinic came in all normal. ECG of the heart is also normal. What do you think my disease is?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Easy fatigue and flatulence may occur due to dyspepsia syndrome, which is a collection of symptoms that appear related to rising stomach acid. This condition is often not clearly known trigger. Therefore, in the medical field, doctors often call it functional dyspepsia. This is what may cause no significant abnormality to be found when you undergo a doctor's examination.
There are various mechanisms that are thought to underlie the emergence of dyspepsia syndrome, including gastrointestinal motility disorders, gastrointestinal oversensitivity to gastric acid, increased gastric acid production, stress, and also infection with Helicobacter pylori bacteria. As a result of the above conditions, various complaints will appear, not only bloating, but also nausea, pain, tightness, lump, fullness, and so on. Therefore, people with dyspepsia syndrome often also experience a decrease in appetite. This can cause you to feel weak, easily tired, and unmotivated due to inadequate nutritional intake.
In addition to dyspepsia syndrome, there are many possible conditions that could underlie your complaints, such as psychosomatic disorders (physical complaints that are aggravated by psychological pressure), gastritis (inflammation of the gastric mucosa), gastric ulcers (sores resonating in the stomach wall), cholangitis (inflammation of the gallbladder), cholelithiasis (gallstones), stomach cancer, viral or bacterial infections, and so on.
Of course, each of the above conditions cannot be distinguished just based on online consultations like this. If you have previously visited a doctor often but found no significant abnormalities, then you can try to do the following natural ways to overcome your complaints:
Exercise regularly at least 3 times a week Eat with discipline, don't be late If you feel bloated, reduce foods that have the potential to trigger the production of a lot of gas, such as spicy foods, coconut milk, caffeine Avoid stress Avoid taking drugs indiscriminately Get enough sleep Stay away from cigarettes and alcohol bloating using warm water If you feel that you have undergone the above efforts optimally but your complaints do not improve within 1 to 2 weeks, you should return to an internal medicine specialist for a thorough evaluation, for example through laboratory tests, X-rays, ultrasound, and so on..
I hope this helps.
