It’s Been A Week Every Bowel Movement Always Hurts To Bleed?
Good evening, I am Nisa aged 23, I want to ask about the difficulty of the CHAPTER I experienced, it’s been a week every time I defecate is always difficult because the chapters that are issued are always hard like clumping pebbles and each chapter makes me bleed because of a hard chapter, it’s already lasts a week. I have a program that eats a lot of fiber every day, but it has no effect. Actually I was hospitalized for a week because of dengue fever and now I am outpatient at home, every 3x a day I take some medicine from a doctor that needs to be finished, can those drugs affect my bowel movements? Or is there another factor that made my chapter harden? Please give me a solution so that this is not sustainable. Thank you, always healthy doctor.
Hello Frisa, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Your hard bowel movements can be influenced by other factors besides fiber. Lack of drinking and lack of physical activity and exercise also affect the occurrence of hard bowel movements and constipation. Certain medications can also cause constipation, but you should specify what medications you are taking, because not all drugs have side effects that cause constipation.
The following are some of the things you can try to do first to deal with the hard and painful bowel movements that you experience:
Increase fiber consumption. Within a day you should consume 5 servings of vegetables and fruit. Increase the amount of water you drink (someone is advised to drink at least 2-3 liters a day) Increase physical activity (do not sit and stay quiet), do regular exercise (at least 30 minutes a day) CHAPTER in a squatting position can help the stools out more smoothly, or if your toilet is a toilet seat, you can take a small chair and raise your legs so that the position is half crouched. Do not hold back the sensation of wanting to defecate
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer.
