IUD KB Which Has Not Been Examined For A Long Time.?
Good morning … I want to ask … I have been using the IUD KB since November 28 2013 until now … In the past, I often checked up the obstetrician. But the last few years have never been at all .. And never midwife to take off my IUD KB, he said the thread is not visible. I was told to go to a doctor. But the doctor said the position of the IUD was still good. But, my uterine position is curved backward. Last night I was browsing how to check the IUD is still safe or not “by inserting the middle finger into miss V, then later it felt like there was a thread ” .. Well this morning I checked, how come my hand did not touch the thread huh. What I want to ask : Is the position of the IUD still in the correct position or shifted? Then, is it dangerous with the content that curves backward? Thanks for the answer, doctor …
IUD (intrauterine device) or intrauterine device (IUD) is a method of contraception by inserting a device in the uterus to prevent pregnancy. To determine the position of the IUD is best to use ultrasound by obstetricians. The thread of an IUD can sometimes not be felt because it depends on the doctor / midwife who installs the IUD itself.
Most women have a uterus that faces forward (toward the abdomen) or is called anteflexion. The curved back of the womb or in medical terms retroflection is the condition of the uterus which is slurred toward the back and faces toward the anus or spine. A retroflexed uterus is also a normal variation and usually 1 in 5 women will have this condition. This condition is generally asymptomatic and will not interfere with the process of pregnancy or childbirth.
Apart from the normal variations, there are several other causes that can make the uterus retroflex, including:
Birth history Endometriosis Pelvic inflammatory disease Uterine / fibroid myoma. History of surgery on the hip Hopefully this information can be useful. thank you
