Just Seen Just A Pregnancy Bag At 8 Weeks Of Gestation?
Hello wr wbDok I have 31 years of age already having 2 daughters, in March 2019 yesterday I ran a laparoscopic surgery because of etopuc pregnancy. thank god I am currently pregnant again, but the pregnancy should have entered 8 weeks (hpht 25 june 2019) but my new GS is only 0.8cm, is this normal? Considering my menstruation is from 25 june to 30 june 2019 but still likes kelyar spots until June 15, 2019. I test pack on August 1, 2019 positive the second line is still vague. To the SPOG on August 7, 2019 there is a GS uk 0.2 cm to the August 14, 2018 uk GS to 0.6 cm to the August 21 2018 GS to 0 , 8cm The question is, how old is my actual pregnancy? Then is this normal? Is the development too slow? Thank you very much.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
If indeed your HPHT is June 25, then your current pregnancy is 8 weeks 4 days. However, to find out the exact age of pregnancy, it is recommended that the examination be carried out for the first trimester ultrasound examination.
At the age of 8 weeks, the doctor should be able to see the fetus in a pregnancy bag. If you just see the bag of pregnancy, chances are you are still very young (less than 6 weeks). 8 mm gestational bag sizes are usually found at 5.5 weeks' gestation.
However, if you look at the progress of the development of the size of your pregnancy pouch (from August 7 to August 14 only increased by 4 mm, from August 14 to August 21 only increased by 2 mm), the increase in size is not normal. Normally the size of the pregnancy pouch will increase at least 1 mm per day. So normally if on August 7 your pregnancy pouch size is 2 mm, by August 21 your pregnancy pouch size should have been at least 16 mm.
You should do a pregnancy check at the same obstetrician so that you can monitor fetal development better. Ask your obstetrician clearly about the condition of your fetus and what actions need to be taken.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
