Hello, I want to ask my father was sick and then taken to a public hospital when he did not find the blood, the lab results were not found (the disease could not be found when he was checked in a public hospital lab) the hospital said so he had to have his blood checked at another private hospital. this problem is because the lab is different or what? nI happen to be a layman, so I don’t understand
Thank you for asking the HealthReplies.com Community.
Laboratory tests generally require tools, materials, samples, and experts as operators. The availability of tools and materials is limited and not the same in every laboratory. Regarding your data, there are several possibilities that occur. It could be due to tools or materials not available in the laboratory, untrained experts or dubious results, so it is advisable to check back to another laboratory for comparative results.
These laboratory results will support the diagnosis of the disease you are experiencing after consulting the doctor directly and the treatment given will be adjusted to the diagnosis of the disease.
The standard normal values for each laboratory are different on average, but the difference is not so great that the results of one laboratory are unlikely to be contradictory as long as the reference to normal values used is in accordance with the laboratory where the examination is carried out.
This is the information we can convey, thank you and hope it is useful.
