Good evening, thanks for the question
1 month injection contraception is classified as a contraceptive method which has a high effectiveness if the injection is done obediently on the specified date. Injections are carried out every 28 days so that its effectiveness is optimal. If the injection is late for more than 1 week, do a consultation with your doctor and do a pregnancy test before returning to use birth control injections to ensure that you are not pregnant. This is because with the use of KB injection for 1 month fertility will return quickly after the injection is stopped, while contraception can not be used in a pregnant condition.
As with birth control pills, its effectiveness will be optimal if consumed regularly every day at the same time. You can switch to the pill contraceptive method if you want fertility to return quickly after stopping pill use. Birth control pills can be consumed at any time during menstruation. If not consumed during menstruation, for 7 days thereafter are required to use additional contraceptives such as condoms if you are having sex.
If you are still in doubt, you should first consult with your midwife or obstetrician to get more targeted information.
That's all, hope you can help.
