Late Injection Of KB For 1 Month For 7 Days Can You Get Pregnant Immediately?
Good afternoon, I’m a mother of 2 children. I use a syringe, I almost want 5thn the same age as my little child, initially I had a few menstrual cycles, or just spotting, but for more than a year back I have not menstruated at all, well now that should be my injection syringe schedule on February 28 until February This is March 7 yet in KB, can I get pregnant right away ?? I guess if you use injection injections for that long, how long do you keep returning to the normal hormone cycle? Thank you, please answer yes
Hello, Ajeng Ageztha Syaqilla. Thank you for the questions submitted to HealthReplies.com We can understand the concern you feel.
1-month injection contraception is a type of injection contraception that contains a combination of the hormones estrogen and progestin. This type of contraception works by suppressing the release of eggs by the ovaries, preventing the attachment of eggs to the uterine wall, and thickening cervical mucus to inhibit the movement of sperm. To be effective, this type of contraception needs to be used regularly every month as scheduled.
One of the side effects of this combined injection contraception is menstrual disorders. Menstrual disorders can vary between individuals, for example, the cycle becomes irregular, the duration or volume of menstruation increases, or blood spots outside of menstrual time (spotting).
In general, if contraception is stopped, menstruation and fertility will return to normal after 5-7 months after cessation of use. Don't hesitate to consult with your obstetrician and gynecologist if you plan to stop using contraception and want to plan a pregnancy.
