Is it possible to change again the doctor’s test results?
Hello Agustina, Thank you for the question.
Late menstruation is not only caused by pregnancy but also several other conditions that cause hormonal imbalances such as:
high levels of stress exhausted physical activity obesity strict diets strict weight changes drastic thyroid hormone disorders polycystic ovary syndrome How many days is your menstrual cycle? It is true that intercourse must be done during the fertile period so that sperm can fertilize eggs and pregnancy can occur. To answer your question, it depends on your menstrual cycle and your fertile period. There are women whose fertility begins immediately after menstruation, in those who have a short menstrual cycle. Even though you are in contact before fertility (after menstruation), sperm can survive in the uterus for 7 days. Thus, if within 7 days you enter the fertile period, the sperm can still meet the egg. Therefore, the possibility of pregnancy still exists if indeed you have a short menstrual cycle.
Testpack results may change but may also remain negative if you are not pregnant; because of the aforementioned, late menstruation is not only due to pregnancy. You can repeat the test pack 1 week later if you still haven't had your period within this time or seek consultation with an obstetrician and gynecologist.
Please also do this advice:
avoid excessive physical activity and rest enough to avoid strict diets to lose weight properly if you have excessive weight manage stress well Hopefully this information is useful.
