Late Menstruation During And After DHF Treatment?
Hello. I want to ask last month I got dbd, and on that day my menstrual date should have been, and indeed I menstruated on that date but only blackish brown spots until the third day only spots. And this month I still haven’t menstruated. Are there any side effects of dbd and hospitalization for my menstrual cycle?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The menstrual cycle is regulated by reproductive hormones that are produced fluctuatively in the body. The production of these hormones is influenced by a variety of factors, including the stress that your body experiences, for example when you experience pain (as you have experienced dengue fever). When the body experiences stress, stress hormone production will increase. This can indirectly affect the production of reproductive hormones, which in turn can make menstruation not smooth or can also vice versa.
Not only that, the lack of menstruation that you experience can also be triggered by other factors, for example due to side effects of drugs, heavy mental pressure, lack of exercise, inadequate nutritional intake, to the effect of certain diseases on your reproductive organs, such as ovarian cysts.
You should not worry. With a healthy lifestyle, frequent menstruation will return smoothly along with the recovery process of your disease. You can increase your rest time first, while improving your diet, drinking, and also your exercise. Make it a habit not to stress, increase relaxation, and don't over think something. Avoid consuming drugs carelessly, except drugs that are prescribed directly by a doctor.
If within 3 months your menstruation still does not come, and you feel you never had sexual intercourse (so you are not likely to get pregnant), then do not hesitate to check your complaints directly to the doctor or obstetrician to be given the best management huh ..
I hope this helps.
