Hello Emy Sep Tamy,
The normal menstrual cycle is between 21-35 days. No menstruation for at least 2 months in women who previously had a normal menstrual cycle or no menstruation for at least 9 months in women with a history of oligomenorrhea can be referred to as amenorrhea.
The normal cause of amenorrhea is pregnancy. Besides amenorrhea can arise due to the following disorders:
Hormonal disorders: PCOS, pituitary tumors, thyroid disorders Disorders of uterine structure: uterine scar tissue Malnutrition, too low body weight Heavy exercise, for example athletes Excessive use of hormonal contraception Amenorrhea symptoms can vary from no symptoms at all, to the appearance of symptoms as following:
Headache Growing hairs on the face Excessive acne Abdominal pain White discharge from the nipple of the breast Amenorrhea which is left can interfere with fertility / fertility. Amenorrhea at a young age can lead to complications of osteoporosis later in life. Therefore, if you experience menstrual disorders, immediately consult a gynecologist. The doctor will conduct anamnesis (ask for a history of illness, etc.), conduct a physical examination, and supporting examinations such as uterine ultrasonography or blood laboratories (hormone levels, thyroid function, etc.) if needed. Handling is usually adjusted to the underlying disorder. Thus the explanation from me, may be useful.
