Late Night Headache?
I am 20 years old, I am an active smoker. I want to ask, why is that just before nightfall, my head hurts. This has happened for a week until now. thank you
Hello, thanks for the question.
Headaches are a complaint that is experienced by many people. The causes of these headaches are numerous, can be caused by certain diseases (secondary headaches), such as sinusitis, flu, dental infections, ear infections, and others. There are also headaches with no known cause (primary headaches), usually caused by a disruption in the structure of the head that is sensitive to pain and is not a symptom due to other diseases. There is what is called a tension type headache or tension headaches, usually felt like a heavy head or bound, can be caused by depression, lack of sleep, stress, dehydration, irregular eating patterns, consuming alcohol, and others. Migraine headaches, which are headaches characterized by throbbing headaches on one or both sides of the head, or headaches, which are headaches characterized by severe headaches, which can spread to the eyes. If the headache is very severe, you can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers at the pharmacy, getting enough rest, eating healthy and nutritious foods, fulfilling fluid needs, controlling risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol, habits smoking and alcohol consumption, etc. If the complaint does not improve you should consult a doctor for examination to determine the appropriate treatment.
Thus, hopefully it helps.
