Left Migraine And Aches In The Neck And Back?
Hello, I’m a 23 year old woman. For the past 3 years I have often experienced migraines on the left and accompanied by aches from the neck to the left back. My nose and eyes are also a little runny each time my migraine and aches recur. What could have happened? I was confused because my recurrence was sudden and really annoying. Thank you.
Hello Seoul, Thank you for the question.
Have you seen a doctor to determine the cause? Side headaches can be caused by various health conditions. Migraine is one of the causes of headaches. Migraines can also occur on both sides of the head. In addition to headaches, migraines are also accompanied by sensitivity to sound and light, nausea, and vomiting. Sufferers can also feel aches in the body, blurred vision, tingling in the body, dizziness. The cause of migraine is not known with certainty but some things can trigger migraine symptoms such as hormonal changes, consumption of certain foods and drinks, psychological factors, complaints, side effects of drug consumption. Have you ever looked for certain triggers for your complaint? Aside from migraines, other causes of headaches are:
tension headaches cluster headaches, with symptoms of headaches felt around the eyes and radiating to the neck, head, shoulders, watery eyes, runny nose, drooping eyelids, pupils shrinking You should consult with a neurologist first. The doctor will ask about your symptoms and do an examination on you to determine the cause. After confirming the cause, the new doctor can provide appropriate treatment for the condition.
Please try to find a trigger for headaches and try to avoid it. You are also encouraged to rest well and manage stress well. You can take paracetamol to temporarily relieve headaches.
I hope this helps.
