Likely To Get Pregnant If Menstruation Is Late?
Hello, I got in touch on December 2, my husband released his sperm outside because we do not intend to have children. My menstrual schedule was supposed to be on January 20, yesterday, I had a chance to drink menstrual fluids but did not cause any reaction until now. So I guess I think pregnant or not?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Sexual intercourse has the greatest potential to cause pregnancy if ejaculation is done in the vagina. However, that does not mean sexual intercourse carried out by ejaculation outside the vagina is not possible at all to cause pregnancy. Some studies say that, pre-ejaculatory fluid (precum fluid, fluid that comes out before the man ejaculates) may still contain sperm cells, especially if it comes out close together after the previous ejaculation. If there is even one sperm cell that is able to survive that is already out into the vagina before the penis is pulled out, then pregnancy can occur.
However, you also need to know, that late menstruation can not only be caused by pregnancy. Stress, fatigue, obesity, side effects of drugs, side effects of contraception, to other diseases can also cause menstruation to come late.
It's best if you do a testpack first to find out if you might be pregnant or not. Furthermore, you can confirm the results of the testpack by going to a gynecologist for more accurate examinations, such as blood tests, hormone tests, or ultrasound.
For now, you should focus on increasing your rest, always eating a healthy diet and life, and don't worry too much especially stress. Avoid indiscriminate consumption of drugs or menstrual smoothing herbs to avoid the risk of negative side effects for your health.
Hope this helps ...
