Limit Calories Needed Every Day?
Hello, I want to ask about obesity. I am 19 years 10 months old, my height is 165 and my body weight is 94kg. I have taken care of eating, and I rarely snack, but still it is very difficult to lose weight. Finally I decided to exercise gym and swim alternately every day. During this week my weight has only dropped a kilo, from 95 to 94. I want to ask what is the calorie intake limit for my body and how much do I have to burn every day to reach my ideal weight? Thank you in advance 🙏🏻
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically losing weight should only be done slowly. The recommended weight loss is around 0.5-1 kg per week, so if in this week you have managed to lose your weight by 1 kg, it means that the number of calories you eat and you throw away through exercise is sufficient.
In general, weight loss programs for each person can be different, it must be clearly known your daily physical activity to be able to know exactly your daily calorie needs. Through a rough calculation based on your weight, gender, height and current weight (94 kg), and your physical activity (exercise approximately 4-5 times per week), you need approximately 2500 calories per day (to maintain your current weight). If you want to lose your weight constantly around 0.5-1 kg per week, you have to reduce your calorie intake by 500-1000 calories per day (to around 1500-2000 calories per day).
Weight loss should not be done seasonally (only eat healthy and exercise while undergoing a "weight loss program") but is carried out constantly and continuously. Make sure you continue to consume healthy foods so that your body does not experience a lack of essential nutrients.
