Listen To The Strains Of Tones While Sleeping?
Hello, I’m a 25 year old woman. I have an oddity that is being able to listen to music while sleeping, and it is very clear, like listening to a song using a headset. My room was quiet, there was no TV, and even if I wanted to sleep I never played a song. I even forced myself several times to record the strains of the tune that I heard in a semi-conscious state, even though my eyes were heavy to be literate. But for a long time I thought that if I did that, I thought I would go crazy. It did not happen anyway, could be several months. Do you think I have a mental illness or not? Do I have to go to a psychiatrist? Thank you for your time.
Hello, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com
Seeing your complaint, it could have been caused by medical factors (such as noise halunation, sound illusion, thought disturbance, sleep disturbance, or other conditions) and also non-medical factors such as the sound caused by the environment around the house (neighbors, cars that are passing, etc.). If you are sufficient that this is not caused by non-medical factors, and it is disturbing enough for you, it is sufficiently advisable to see a psychiatrist to carry out further consultations regarding your situation. Next you may be given medicines to help reduce your complaints which also depend on the diagnosis of your situation.
I hope this helps.
