Hello Evi, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Pain in the lower abdomen can be caused by many possibilities and although the pain you feel during your ovulation, pain does not have to always be related to ovulation. Some women can indeed feel mild pain on one side of the lower abdomen when ovulation occurs. This pain is called mittelschmerz or ovulation pain. This condition is a mild condition, does not require special treatment, and the pain will go away in a few hours, although sometimes it can also last up to 1-2 days.
Some other possible causes of lower abdominal pain include:
pain originating from the gastrointestinal tract, for example gastrointestinal infections (gastroenteritis), appendicitis (appendicitis), constipation, IBS pain originating from the urinary tract, for example urinary tract infections, urinary stones pain that comes from the reproductive tract, for example ovarian cysts broken or twisted, fibroids, infections of the reproductive tract You should pay attention again if there are other symptoms that you experience accompanying your stomach pain. If there are no other symptoms that accompany, the pain is felt only mild, disappearing itself in 1-2 days then you have nothing to worry about. If you encounter other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, urinary pain, vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, then you should check with your doctor so that you can evaluate it further.
To help reduce abdominal pain, you can take pain relievers such as paracetamol and compress your lower abdomen with warm compresses.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
