Lower Back Pain Due To Sprains?
3 days ago I helped lift a sick person’s burden to be lifted into the car … due to the wrong position of my back sprain and the pain is excruciating to this day. I only take analgesics when I want to sleep. My hobbies are gym and cycling. Should I stop while exercising?
Back pain due to trauma or injury during activities does require rest in the traumatized part. Ideally you can do the first treatment like =
Cold compress. Rest the painful body part. Give a bandage or bandage on the trauma area (in your case a special waist corset can help) And lie on a hard base (not too soft) Practice good posture during activities. Take pain relievers such as paracetamol. Apply a pain reliever or patch. Massage / light massage. For gyms that are too heavy and require extreme body movements you should avoid first, cycling should also be reduced, especially if your type of bicycle is a bicycle that makes the rider's posture bent.
Waist muscle stretching exercises accompanied by light exercises such as light yoga, light pilates can help. Light walking is also recommended as long as the pain is not bothersome.
If the pain persists for more than 2 days, it is highly recommended for you to consult the nearest orthopedic doctor. Pain in the lower back should not be taken lightly because it can worsen complications in the future. Back pain itself can be caused by =
Muscle injury. Bad posture. Pinched nerve. Spinal shift. Narrowing of the nerve tract in the spine. Scoliosis, curvature of the spine. I hope this helps.
