Lump Around The Pelvis And Painful?
around my left hip, how come there is a lump when I touch it and it’s not the same as my right hip, why is that? and it feels a little painful. Why do you think?
The presence of lumps around the pelvis can be caused by various medical conditions including:
Lipoma, a benign tumor originating from fatty tissue that is generally harmless
Hernia, or descent of part of the intestine to the area below the stomach
Infection or inflammation by bacteria
Swollen lymph nodes
Tumors, ranging from benign to malignant
Direct examination by a doctor is needed to determine the cause of your complaint. The doctor will do an examination, especially on the lump and some additional examinations if necessary. Treatment will be based on the underlying cause, ranging from drugs to surgery.
Some tips that can be done regarding your condition:
Always watch for enlargement or change in your lump
Take paracetamol to reduce pain
Don't squeeze the lump
Eat nutritious foods
If the complaints you are experiencing are getting more worrying, then it's a good idea to consult a surgeon to get the right treatment
