Lump In The Neck Of A 1 Year Old Child?
, my son is 1 year 8 months old, he has a lump in his neck from birth until now it hasn’t disappeared and he has a lot of lumps.
Complaints experienced by your child can be caused by several possibilities, such as:
Lipoma Enlarged glandular lymphadenitis TB Lymphoma
Lipoma is a benign tumor originating from fat. Enlarged glands can be caused by various things such as an infection around the neck, throat and others. TB lymphadenitis is an enlarged gland caused by a tuberculous infection which can also cause a lump. Lymphoma is a malignancy derived from lymphocyte cells that can cause lumps.
It's a good idea to bring your child to the checkup, especially to the pediatrician for direct evaluation. If needed, the doctor may suggest additional examinations such as ultrasound or needle prick test as needed. If you need therapy, the doctor will provide what is happening to your child.
I hope this helps.
