Lump In The Rectum For 8 Years But Not Painful?
Assalamu alaikum, r nSy wanted to ask, I have been experiencing a lump in my rectum for 8 years. There are 3 round lumps but they are not painful. Like second stage hemorrhoids. Is it hemorrhoids? The color is not red. In recent days I noticed that the lump is slightly enlarged and looks like a little bit white on the inside. But it doesn’t hurt. Is this dangerous and needs to be acted upon? R nThank you, please explain
Wa alaikumsalam, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Lumps in the rectum can appear for many reasons, which in order to determine each of them, at least a direct physical examination by an experienced doctor is required. Among the possibilities are:
Hemorrhoids or hemorrhoids
Genital warts due to viral infection
Skin tags, or abnormal growth of stem tissue
Lipoma or abnormal growth of fatty tissue
So as we said at the beginning, your condition will be known more precisely if you consult a surgeon. Your surgeon will then ask you a few questions about your medical history, and perform a physical examination by looking directly at the lump. If it is considered hemorrhoids, then if the degree is advanced, the treatment is only surgery.
Meanwhile, pay attention to whether you have had a bowel movement followed by drops of blood or not. Pass this information on to your doctor. In addition, consume more water, keep the pubic area clean, consume fiber-rich foods such as vegetables and fruit, and don't apply anything and don't touch the lumps. Hope you get well soon.
That's all, hope it helps.
