Lump In The Right Armpit, Enlarged But Not Painful?
Assalamu’alaykum .. r Want to ask me there is a lump in the right armpit for 2 years, but it got a little bigger about 6 months ago, but it doesn’t hurt, it just feels achy when I face to the right, why is that? Thanks
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Lumps in the right armpit can occur due to various reasons, some are mild, but some are dangerous. The enlarged size of the lump can certainly cause an uncomfortable sensation, can feel sore, block, pain, and so on.
Some possible lumps in the armpit to watch out for include:
Lymphadenitis (inflammation of the lymph nodes), the most common cause of which is related to infection, for example Tuberculosis Lymphadenopathy (enlarged lymph nodes) due to other causes, such as primary or secondary tumors, cat clawing Skin infections, for example folliculitis (hair root infection) Tumors, for example lipomas, pilaris cysts, sebaceous cysts, sarcomas Hypertrophic scars, keloids, etc. Have you checked your lumps to a doctor? If not, then before it's too late, you should check with your doctor right away. To identify the cause of the lump, the doctor can perform a physical examination and other supporting tests, such as blood tests, ultrasound, X-rays, and tissue biopsy. The next treatment will be adjusted to the trigger of the lump, it can be through administering drugs, surgery, and so on.
At this point, you should avoid body positions that make the lump feel uncomfortable, for example by not sleeping on your right side. Also wear loose, clean clothes so that you don't cause excessive friction in the armpit area. Always keep your body clean and well. Avoid touching too often, especially squeezing lumps in the armpits forcibly.
Hope it helps ..
