Lump In The Right Breast At The Bottom?
Hello, I am a 23 year old daughter I want to ask around the 4th month ago my breasts got hit by the elbow of my son’s breasts that are non bra breasts, 2 days later I found out there was a big lump like a marble, I immediately checked the midwife and it turned out I was menstruating today that too, now the lump is still there but it’s been smaller than the hard one now it’s not too hard then the breast two “it becomes more sensitive and I’ve also checked into the clinic what should I check with the surgeon!
Hello Putri, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Reading the complaints you submit above, it's good you still check the lump to the surgeon, because a lump even though it is felt smaller than before, as long as it has not gone away, it must be further examined until proven that the lump is not a breast cancer.
Your surgeon may suggest that you undergo a procedure called biposi, which is a procedure used to remove a small amount of tissue from a lump for further examination under a microscope to find out what causes the lump and whether the lump is a cancer or not. After the results of the examination come out, then you can determine what actions are needed next for the condition of your lump, whether an operation is necessary or not.
For the time being, keep checking your breasts regularly on your own, using a self-examination technique called BSE technique to determine how the lump develops.
I hope this helps.
