The appearance of lumps in several parts of the body can be cause for concern and a lump on the head is one location that requires attention. Especially if there are other complaints such as headache, blurred vision, sudden vomiting, or decreased consciousness.
Some of the causes of a lump on the head are:
Head injury Head bone tumor which is usually not a malignant condition but can still be at risk of fracture of the skull Lipoma Folliculitis Cyst If indeed this complaint has been felt for a long time and the complaint feels heavy then you should immediately consult a doctor directly so that an examination can be carried out related to your condition. Maybe if necessary, the doctor will advise you to do a CT Scan or biopsy to help support the analysis of the possible causes of your complaint.
Some things you can do at home include:
Avoid squeezing or continuing to touch the lump. If you feel pain, you can take pain relievers sold at pharmacies. Avoid applying any medicine or ointment to the lump.
