1 Answer:
hello deden. Enlarged lymph nodes or also known as lymphadenitis is an enlargement caused by a viral or bacterial infection. Basically lymph nodes are part of the human immune system. So if there is an infection there will be enlargement. If what happens is an enlarged lymph node in the neck area, the infection can be a respiratory tract infection or a dental infection. When the infection is resolved and healed, the lymph nodes will also shrink. Or this can also happen if the infection is the lymph node itself. This is usually caused by a weakened immune system. For this reason, if it is said that your child has enlarged lymph nodes, you should follow the doctor's advice. The doctor will usually give the appropriate treatment, so your job is to always take your child's medicine from the doctor. In addition, give your child nutritious food to speed up the healing process.
