, in my lower left head there is a lump. only appeared this morning and if pressed it hurts. sometimes feel dizzy too then the neck also feels sore and not feeling well. It had also been like this before, left a few days ago gone by itself. Why do you think about that?
Hello mettanrhh, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Need to be clarified about the location of the lump, whether on the back of the head (around the ear), or in the face, or neck area. Some causes of your complaint include:
Respiratory tract infections (usually due to viruses) Inflammation of lymph nodes (lymphadenitis) Benign tumors in the skin area (lipoma, cyst) Infection of the skin area (folliculitis) Also note the shape and consistency of the lump (whether it is enlarged, or hard / chewy) should also be advised to be able to consult with your doctor. The lump can also be caused by enlarged lymph nodes due to infection in the head / neck / or respiratory tract and will disappear by itself when the infection around the lump area disappears.
Some things you can do:
Adequate rest to help endurance. Drink plenty of water and consume nutritious food. Compress the lump with warm water. If pain or dizziness you can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol. If the lump has signs of inflammation (red), it gets bigger and doesn't disappear within 2-4 weeks, you should consult a surgeon. Hopefully this information can be useful .Thank you.
