Lump On The Left Rear Head?
Previously 2 days my head that was bumping behind my left ear hurt when I slept … It didn’t feel good … Even though I use a pillow it hurts, maybe 2 can recover?
Thank you for the question.
Lumps on the back of the head close to the left ear that are painful can be many possible causes, including:
Lumps originating from the skin, for example pimples, abscesses, folliculitis, bitten by insects Lumps originating from lymph nodes, for example lymphadenitis, lymphoma, leukemia Lumps originating from skull bones or mastoid bones, for example normal bone bulges, mastoiditis Benign or malignant tumors For example, lipomas, sarcomas, cysts, etc. Pain in this lump can you deal with temporarily with the application of a warm compress or taking the drug Paracetamol. Also make sure you do not press excessive bumps that appear, holding it with dirty hands, let alone give it carelessly without doctor's advice. Do not forget, you are also obliged to get enough rest, do not sleep over the side of the bump, and keep your head and body clean overall. Furthermore, to ascertain the causes and definitive treatment of these lumps, you still need to check yourself directly to the doctor or surgeon. Usually, the doctor will do a thorough physical examination, or accompanied by supporting tests, such as x-rays, biopsies, blood tests, CT scans, and so on if deemed necessary.
Hope this helps ...
