Lump Under Tongue It’s Been Almost A Month?
hello, I’m a 21 year old female, it’s been almost a month I got a lump like thrush at first under the tongue. I remember using a toothbrush that I haven’t replaced in a long time, maybe it had a lot of bacteria, then the lump appeared. After that, I immediately changed my toothbrush, the lump that initially looked like thrush was red like it was filled with blood. Then I let it sit, but after 2 weeks the lump had hardened and turned white. I’m confused how to remove it? what to use operation? Initially medium size but when it hardens it gets smaller. although it does not hurt but still makes it uncomfortable in the mouth area. please help, thank you.
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Lumps on the bottom of the tongue can appear due to various things, including infection, lack of vitamins, stones in the salivary glands, inflammation of the salivary glands, and so on. In general, these lumps are harmless and will disappear over time.
However, to avoid misunderstandings, check your condition with an ENT specialist for further examination, especially if the lump is getting bigger, bleeding, painful and so on. Meanwhile, don't touch the lump and don't play with your tongue. I hope you and your family are always healthy.
That's all, hope it helps.
