1 Answer:

Hello Nurul

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com

Lumps behind the ears that appear suddenly can be caused by many things. Usually these lumps are not a health problem that can be dangerous. But, if a lump in the ear is accompanied by other complaints such as headaches, ear pain and others should be immediately consulted by a doctor. Because it could be a sign of a problem in the ear, nose or throat that causes swelling in the ear.

There are several possible causes of ear lumps including:

infections: Some bacterial and viral infections can cause swelling in the face, neck and behind the ears. Some types of infections that can cause these lumps include strep throat, Epstein-Barr virus, HIV and AIDS, measles and chicken pox. mastoiditis: an infection that develops in the bulge behind the ear called a mastoid. This can cause a pus-filled cyst to develop, allowing you to feel a lump behind your ear. abscess: a form of the body's response to bacterial infections that form into lumps and this can occur anywhere, from the armpits, gums, to the back of the ear. An abscess develops when the body's tissues or cells are infected. otitis media: When an infection occurs it can cause a buildup and swelling of the fluid that feels painful. These symptoms can cause bumps that are visible behind the ear. lymphadenopathy: a disease that attacks the lipoma lymph node: a lump of fat that can appear anywhere in the body and is almost harmless. and not so much pain that may cause a lump in the ear to make sure you have to immediately consult an ENT doctor to ascertain the cause of your pain so that the doctor can do a direct examination and provide proper hearing management with drugs or should be surgically dependent on the cause of the pain .

while the back headache that you experience can be related to your earaches it can also be due to other causes such as tension headaches, migraines and chronic daily headaches etc., back headaches can occur in mild or severe conditions. If the condition is mild, the headache can go away by itself. However, for more severe conditions, headaches usually do not go away and are followed by other symptoms. If the headaches experienced do not go away and there are other symptoms that interfere with activity, immediately consult a doctor to find out the cause.

There are several things you can do at home:

compress warm water on the bump on the ear taking pain medications such as paracetamol according to the recommended packaging listed do not hold the lump adequate rest compresses with hot water or cold muscles that feel pain to reduce headaches in the back. Expand the consumption of mineral water at least 2 liters a day. Generally, if you can keep your body hydrated, you might feel better. Thus the info I can give

hopefully can help you

thank you
