Lumps Like Enlarged Moles On The Scalp?
I have a bump on the head, at first it looks like a mole but for a long time it actually looks rather big and keeps the color there are only two like that on the bottom of the item is brownish, what’s the lump?
Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Lump on the head is a picture of an abnormality or also called a tumor, which is in the head region. Tumors here do not mean only malignant, but tumors can be benign. So that the bump on the head is likely a benign tumor formation that has skin on your head. Some of the conditions below can cause complaints as you submit, such as:
1. a mole
2. because of an infection, such as inflammation of the hair root
4. a benign oil gland tumor
In connection with your question, if you have experienced this lump for a long time, with black and degradation to brown, (clear boundary?) Then this might be a mole on your scalp. If your family has a birthmark in the form of a mole, the complaint you feel is more directed to the mole.
However, this cannot be ascertained without a physical examination, where the doctor must look directly at this lump to be able to know the possible cause. If needed, or if the doctor suspects abnormal cell changes in this lump, then the doctor can plan a biopsy on this lump.
The results of the examination will be a reference for the surgeon to take the necessary actions. If the doctor recommends taking it, then you can continue the doctor's plan, so that this complaint does not make you anxious.
For now, avoid holding the lump and scratching the lump until you see your doctor.
That is the info we can convey.
