Lumps On The Legs, Dark And Painful?
At noon, I want to ask if my leg started to have dark lumps, was round in shape and started to feel painful, since Tuesday (26/06). I don’t know if they are boils or maybe warts? What should I do about it?
Hello! Thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I understand you feel uncomfortable with the lump, especially it has been around for almost a week. Our feet have a structure consisting of bone, muscle, fat, skin, connective tissue, blood vessels and nerve tissue. Any of these tissues can cause an abnormal lump. Immediate examination is required to determine the origin of the lump and its cause. Treatment of the lump will depend on the cause of the lump.
Boils are bacterial infections of the skin. The infection produces a collection of pus under the skin. The boil is usually reddish in color, feels a little warm, and is accompanied by pain. Warts are skin problems that arise mainly as a result of viral infections. Warts are usually raised with a rough surface. When touched, the wart usually feels harder than the surrounding skin.
We recommend that you see a doctor for examination and treatment of these lumps. Do not squeeze, cut, or injure the lump. Use comfortable and not narrow footwear. If you feel comfortable, you can compress the lump with warm water (avoid using hot water).
That is the explanation from me. Hopefully useful and hopefully get well soon.
