Hello Rizal, thank you for asking with HealthReplies.com.
Lumps under the chin or neck can be caused by several things, including:
- Enlarged lymph nodes. Is a condition in which the lymph nodes experience enlargement due to a reaction to the number of immune cells produced by the lymph nodes to fight substances that are harmful to the body.
- Furuncle / boils: is a lump that is red, swollen, and contains pus. Due to bacterial infections.
- Abscess: collection of pus in certain body parts.
Inflammation / infection of the salivary glands under the tongue / chin
- Malignancy / Cancer
You should do an examination with a doctor. The doctor will conduct a brief interview, physical examination and additional examinations if needed. The doctor will also provide therapy in accordance with the complaints you feel.
Some things you can do at home: take over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol, avoid squeezing lumps, keep your hands clean, multiply drinking water, avoid consuming alcoholic beverages, avoid smoking or cigarette smoke, get enough rest, and increase consumption nutritional food.
Thank you, hope that helps.
