1 Answer:
Hi Rike,
Thank you for the question.
Shortness of breath and pain under the ribs can indeed be caused one of them by heartburn (dyspepsia). This condition can occur in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, gastric cancer, stones or inflammation of the bile, pancreatitis, or also because of unknown factors (functional dyspepsia). Frequently, shortness and pain will worsen in people with dyspepsia when late eating, over consuming excessive spicy or fatty foods, excessive drinking caffeinated drinks, stress, experiencing hormonal fluctuations, or also taking certain drugs.
It could also, shortness and pain as you feel arises because of other triggers, for example bronchitis pleuritis, pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis, muscle aches, asthma, heart problems, psychological disorders, and so on.
Our advice, if the tightness that appears mild, you make your complaints first by:
Eat regularly, small portions
Do not go to sleep immediately after eating
Avoid consuming food, drinks and dyspeptic triggers first (as mentioned above)
Compress warm chest tightness and pain
Regularly exercise and rest
Avoid stress
Since COVID-19 is currently outbreaking, a doctor's examination should be postponed unless severe symptoms such as tightness or severe pain, vomiting, weakness, cold sweat, palpitations, and so on. So, if you feel severe symptoms like this, immediately check with your doctor or doctor in the nearest internal medicine huh ..
I hope this helps.
