Management Of Psychological Disorders?
Hello. I want to ask, if the mental health test on the internet from the official website is accurate or not? Because of all the sites, I was positively detected by a mental disorder. I was going to go to a psychologist, but one of my friends said that I was just looking for just excessive attention, I needed to go to a psychologist, because I was taunted like that, I became confused with a psychologist. Even though I can’t feel my emotions for more than 3 months, I have been disrupted for more than a year. I suppose what should I do?
Hello Bloomers, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
To do an assessment of one's mental condition, it can indeed be done by asking the patient to undergo special tests for mental health, but the interpretation of the results of these examinations is still recommended to consult with a psychiatric specialist (psychiatrist) to also do an evaluation of the patient's condition directly.
Even if the test you are doing is done on an official site, it is still advisable to bring the results of the examination to be consulted further with your doctor so that it can be determined whether the results of the examination are accurate or not, and if there is indeed a disturbance in your psychiatric, the doctor can determine what therapy which should be recommended for you, whether it is enough with psychotherapy alone or also require therapy using drugs.
It's very good if you realize that you seem to have a psychological disorder, no need to be embarrassed or reluctant to see a doctor just because of a mockery of friends, because psychiatric disorders are not something that is embarrassing and like any other disease, requires further therapy to help make quality of life sufferers get better so they can be more productive.
I hope this helps.
