Good morning Vienatasya Vie, thank you for asking on HealthReplies.com.
Measles is a disease caused by the measles virus, which basically this disease can heal by itself if the course of the disease is complete. In general, measles will last for a few days (approximately 7 days) then after that spotting and fever will gradually disappear which indicates the disease has experienced healing. Also note that when reddish spots appear, generally the fever will increase, so that it can be helped by giving a fever-lowering medication according to the dose to help. But keep in mind that the treatment of measles, does not aim to eliminate the virus that causes it but only helps reduce the symptoms that arise, this is because until now there has not been found any antiviral drugs that can accelerate healing.
Liquid BAB is also experienced by your child, is one of the complications of this disease, due to an infection by the measles virus which decreases the immune system of your child so as to facilitate infection by other germs that can cause other diseases such as lung infections, diarrhea, ear infections and others. Because diarrhea in general can cause dehydration which is quite fast and severe in children, then you should go back to the doctor and ask about this, to ensure your child also gets treatment for diarrhea.
In the meantime, you should still give your child the medicines that the doctor has prescribed. Make sure your child gets enough rest, and keep your child away from people around who have not been affected by measles for a while because this disease is very easily transmitted through the air. Also make sure your child is getting nutritious food and getting enough fluids to prevent dehydration. Avoid giving fruits, milk and acidic foods for a while until the bowel movement is back to normal.
