Medication For Treating Blind Pimple Acne?
I want to ask if the acne pimple disappears, what medication do you use?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Blind pimple is a pimple that appears under the skin and is not visible from the outside. This type of acne is usually large and painful, acne is often also called nodular acne.
Nodular acne is a type of acne that is severe and difficult to remove with self-therapy at home and often leaves scars on the skin if not treated properly. One important thing for you to remember if you have nodular acne is to never squeeze or prick these zits. Doing so will cause more severe skin infections, acne more inflamed, and increase the risk of scarring on the skin. Nodular acne can sometimes go away by itself (takes a very long time, can take weeks to months), but can also harden under the skin.
To help cure, you can try to compress your skin with warm compresses and apply acne medicine that you can buy yourself at the pharmacy. However, because of deep acne lesions, topical therapy like this usually will not help much to cure your zits. You are better advised to consult a dermatologist for severe acne therapy (such as nodular or blind pimple acne and cystic acne). Your doctor may prescribe antibiotic ointments or oral antibiotics to help deal with acne, other oral therapies (such as isotretinoin), or perform procedures such as giving intralesional injections, laser therapy, peeling, and so on. Antibiotics or isotretinoin are hard drugs that you cannot buy yourself or use if you have not consulted a doctor first. Using it incorrectly can cause side effects that are harmful to your own body.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
