Medication To Treat Blisters From Hot Oil?
Dear Doctor, Can Benoson N be used for blisters due to contact with hot oil?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Benoson N is a drug that contains Betamethasone (corticosteroids) and Neomycin sulfate (antibiotics). These drugs are hard drugs that you should not use if you have not done a doctor's examination directly and you should not also buy yourself without a prescription from a doctor. The use of this drug for blisters / blisters (2nd degree burns) is not recommended. Topical corticosteroids given at the onset of a burn can increase the likelihood of infection in the wound, while for burns that are not too broad and not too deep, administration of antibiotics is not really necessary (unless there are visible signs of infection in the wound).
For burns that are not too deep and not too broad, you can use a honey dressing to help speed healing and also prevent infection in the burn. Honey besides having antimicrobial effects also has anti-inflammatory effects and can help speed up reepithelialization of burns. If your blister has not broken (still looks intact / intact), do not solve it in any way (stabbed, pressed, swiped, etc.). This blister can actually help maintain the tissue that is healing underneath, provide protection, and facilitate tissue healing as well. If your burns are wide and deep enough (you can see the hollow or missing skin part of your skin), or if your injuries occur on the face, fingers or toes, and genitals, immediately do a doctor's examination and treatment immediately .
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
