, I have milia under my eyes, some are clearly visible, and some are still not visible, I have routinely used aloe vera gel but it hasn’t decreased, is there any other way to get rid of milia naturally? thank you

1 Answer:

Hello Astri,

Milia is a condition where small pimples or blackheads appear on the skin but the contents are difficult to remove. If the contents are removed by a doctor's action, white contents will appear.

Handling milia is difficult to do with topical drugs or regular topicals, but sometimes milia can disappear on its own after a few months. Milia can be treated with cauter, laser, dermabrasion, extraction with sterile needles, chemical peels, and cryotherapy.

After milia is treated, in some cases milia can sometimes recur in a few months to several years. If there is a recurrence of milia, treat it the same as before.

If you experience complaints of milia, you should check with a dermatologist directly so that further tests can be done to ensure your skin condition and then the doctor can provide the right treatment for you. What is often done is with caution.

Meanwhile you should not squeeze milia. You can just use the aloe vera gel in moderation, though it usually doesn't really help.
