Men’s Nipples Become More Sensitive When Touched?
Hello, I’m 19 years old. In the past 3 days, my left and right nipples have suddenly become very sensitive if I touch anything like clothes, hands and so on. This really bothered me. If my nipples get hit by clothes, then I will feel ticklish. Before I lost weight, things like this did not happen easily. At that time I weighed 96 kg. When I started losing weight to 90 kg, my nipples suddenly became sensitive. If touched a little nipples immediately harden and the areola begins to enlarge. There are no discoloration of the nipples. Then is this a symptom of male breast cancer? Explanation please
Hello Adf01, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com.
There are several conditions that can make a person's nipples more sensitive, such as:
Increased estrogen hormone (female hormones that remain in men in small amounts) in the body Sexual stimulation Changes in temperature where suddenly the temperature of the environment becomes too cold Allergy Nipples that do have a higher level of sensitivity than others To find out whether complaints are you feel at this time is a disorder that is based on the presence of a certain disease or because of other things, you should consult directly with your doctor. Subsequent therapy will be determined if the cause has been found.
Please note that the symptoms of a breast cancer in both women and men are the same, and are not characterized by an increased sensitivity of the nipple. You can read more about the symptoms of breast cancer here.
Meanwhile, if you feel this is very disturbing, you can use gauze or other objects to cover your nipples to minimize the occurrence of friction with your clothes.
I hope this helps.
