Menstrual Blood Is Few And Brown
Hello dock, I’m Annisa Sari, age 26 years. I have been married for about a year, but my husband and I did postpone pregnancy due to work reasons. I used to menstruate between the 3rd or 4th of every month dock, including last March I menstruated on the 3rd. Then on the 15th I had sex with my husband using a condom but he had come out in conditions using condoms. Then on April 3 I found that there was a little blood coming out like menstruation, but the amount was small and dark brown. then after that often followed like a brown blood clot and occurred several times. This continues to this day on the 5th. I am confused Doc, whether it is menstrual blood, or spots of pregnancy. which is correct doc?
Hello Annisa, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
Reading your complaints, these spots can be caused by a period but can also be an uncertain sign of early pregnancy, and can also be caused by other conditions such as vaginal infections, endometriosis, myoma or uterine polyps.
Because your complaint has just been felt and there is still the possibility of a pregnancy occurring even though it is quite small because your husband uses a condom, it is still recommended that you do your own test pack at home by checking and reading according to the manner specified on the package.
In the meantime, besides doing a testpack, you are also allowed to consult an obstetrician to make sure (especially if your testpack results are doubtful). Avoid taking any medication and avoid having intercourse first until further confirmation from your doctor. Also improve maintaining the cleanliness of your female area, especially when complaints are felt.
If more bleeding occurs than usual (including blood clots appearing), abdominal pain, fever or vaginal discharge, immediately consult a gynecologist for further evaluation.
I hope this helps.
