Menstrual Cycle Lengthens?
Morning. I want to ask, I got my period from October 16th, then it came out again on December 30th, is my cycle abnormal?
Thank you for the question.
Normal menstrual cycles range from 21 to 35 days. If your period is more than that, then it means your menstrual cycle lengthens. The question is, does this lengthening menstrual cycle always happen that way every month? How long do you menstruate in a day? Do you have any other complaints?
Many factors can cause menstrual cycles to lengthen, for example hormonal disorders, unhealthy lifestyles, stress, the influence of drugs or contraception, obesity, hyper or hypothyroidism, pituitary gland abnormalities, ovarian cysts, and other chronic diseases.
Depending on the cause, conditions like yours can be dangerous, or they may not. To be sure, usually you need to dig up your menstrual history during the last 6 to 9 months, physical examination, and several supporting tests, such as hormone tests, ultrasound, blood tests, and so on. So, you try to check yourself to the doctor or obstetrician to be given the best solution huh ..
In the meantime, for menstruation to run more regularly, you need to be more disciplined in living a healthy lifestyle, including by sleeping more regularly, maintaining your ideal body weight, don't stress or worry excessively, multiply eating antioxidant-rich vegetables and fruits, exercise at least 30 minutes every day, don't smoke, and don't take drugs carelessly without doctor's advice.
Hope this helps ...
