Menstrual cycle is related to hormone regulation in the body. The hormones estrogen and progesterone are hormones that function to regulate a woman's menstrual cycle and when undergoing pregnancy. Normally the menstrual cycle occurs between 28 to 35 days. Whether or not the menstrual cycle is affected is influenced by various factors, including hormonal fluctuations, food consumed, physical / psychological stress, fatigue, activities undertaken, etc.
Related to your question, the menstrual cycle has nothing to do with lumps around the genitals or to your stomach acid disease. It's hard to predict when your next period will occur. Each woman's menstrual cycle differs depending on hormonal conditions and other interrelated factors. Women's menstrual cycles can sometimes go forward or backward from the previous schedule. Generally, if the time span of the change occurs between 7-14 days is still considered normal due to hormonal fluctuations in the body that can change at any time.
