The existence of complaints of menstrual pain or called dysmenorrhea is a natural condition that is encountered by a woman during menstruation. Usually complaints of menstrual pain can occur before menstruation, the first few days of menstruation, or during menstruation. Complaints of menstrual pain occur due to uterine contractions that try to suppress open blood vessels during menstruation which implies reduced oxygen supply in the uterine area, so that complaints of menstrual pain can occur also during the menstrual period, and in general this is a reasonable condition .
Some of the triggering factors for menstrual pain complaints are:
1. 30 years old
2. Menstruation is not smooth
3. excessive menstrual blood
5. stress or physical fatigue
If menstrual pain complaints do not go away, or in the next 2 menstrual cycles menstrual pain complaints still bother you, then several other medical conditions also need to be considered, such as:
1. the existence of endometrial tissue growth outside the uterine wall / endometriosis
2. Myoma or benign tumor of the uterine wall
3. pelvic infection / radag; especially if there is an adnaya history of previous risky sex
4. ovarian cyst
However, all this needs to be done directly by your obstetrician, so that the doctor can provide more definite information relating to your complaint, whether this complaint is a normal condition or because of the possibility of other medical conditions as above. The doctor will conduct interviews, physical examinations, and supporting examinations to determine the condition of your reproductive system. The results of the examination will be a reference treatment and treatment needed, especially if found other medical conditions that affect menstrual pain.
For now, you should be able to fix a number of things to help reduce this complaint, such as:
1. avoid sleeping late
2. avoid stress
3. avoid physical fatigue
4. do light and routine exercise
5. avoid spicy foods, instant foods, coffee and coconut foods during menstruation
Thus the info we can convey.
