Menstruation 2 Times A Month?
Night. I am a 21 year old woman. Married 13 months. And for 4 months one month KB injection. Since I stopped the KB always menstruation 2 times a month. And that is in the 18 day menstrual cycle. Is it still normal and can still have children?
Hello Dhedhe, thank you for asking.
The normal menstrual cycle (the distance between two periods) is between 21-35 days. Longer or shorter cycle can be said to be included in menstrual disorders. Menstrual duration can also be used to assess menstrual disorders. The normal duration of menstruation is 2-7 days, although in some people normal menstruation can reach 10 days. Shorter or longer menstrual periods can also be said to be menstrual disorders. In addition, the presence of bleeding spots outside the menstrual period, also indicates menstrual disorders.
Menstrual disorders are generally caused by:
Impaired reproductive hormone balance.
The effect of certain drugs.
Chronic physical fatigue.
Reproductive disorders such as endometriosis, uterine myomas, or ovarian cysts.
The chance to get pregnant certainly still exists. However, menstrual disorders should indeed be addressed first. Please consult with your obstetrician regarding this problem. The doctor will assess the condition of your reproductive organs by ultrasound, then provide appropriate therapy. Generally therapy in the form of synthetic hormone drugs that must be consumed under the supervision of a doctor.
Thus a brief explanation from me. May be useful. Regards.
