Menstruation Almost 2 Weeks And Always Accompanied By Menstrual Pain?
hello, I have problems with menstruation. I had my period at 11 years old, and I had no pain during menstruation, however, when I was 13 years old I started having pain during menstruation and my period was longer than usual. it was only a week ago Now, on average, I have menstruation for almost 2 weeks or sometimes more. So now (I am 15 years old) I always experience pain during menstruation …… Do I have a serious illness? or is there a mistake in my lifestyle? ………..thank you
Normal menstruation in women occurs every 21 - 35 days with a duration of 3 - 7 days. If menstruation occurs more than that, it is called metrorrhagia. This can be caused by various conditions such as:
Hormonal disorders Blood disorders Inflammation of the reproductive tract Malignancy
The menstrual cycle is regulated by hormones in the body. If there is a disturbance in this hormonal balance, menstrual disorders can occur. Blood disorders can also be triggers, such as in conditions of low platelet count, blood clotting disorders and others. Inflammation of the reproductive tract can also be a cause which is usually followed by vaginal discharge. The presence of malignancy in the reproductive tract can also be the cause of the condition you are experiencing. Pain that is felt during menstruation, it could be part of menstruation, or other possibilities such as endometriosis or tissue from the lining of the uterine wall that grows outside the uterus, and other possibilities.
It's a good idea to see a doctor, especially a gynecologist, because doctors need a history and examination directly. If needed, the doctor may order additional tests such as blood, radiology and others. Therapy will be given according to what you are experiencing.
I hope this helps
