Menstruation Comes 2 Times A Month?
, I just finished menstruating last Saturday or Sunday, but 5 days later, on Friday, I had my period again, the color of the blood is also the same as menstruation, usually red-brown, is that okay, or is it affected because I was taking medicine, I happened to be I have flu, fever and headache. Will it affect my menstrual cycle?
Normal menstruation in women occurs every 21-35 days with a duration of 3-7 days in one menstruation. If what you experience is still within that duration, it could be that what you are experiencing is a normal thing where it is the rest of your menstrual cycle.
However, it could be that the condition you are experiencing is an extension of the menstrual cycle (metrorrhagia) or a faster period of menstruation (polymenorrhea, i.e. menstruation occurs <21 days).
Several conditions can affect:
Hormonal disorders Contraceptive use Stress Polycystic ovary syndrome, and others
If indeed the abnormal menstrual condition that you experience is repeated, it's a good idea to check with your doctor, especially a gynecologist. The doctor will evaluate your condition. It could be that the doctor will suggest tests such as blood if needed. Therapy will be tailored to your condition later.
What you can do in the meantime:
Consume nutritious food and drink enough water Eat lots of vegetables and fruit Regular exercise Get enough rest 6-8 hours/day Stress management
I hope this helps.
