Menstruation When Injecting Kb?
Good evening .. I want to ask. What are the dangers of menstruation when using birth control injections? because it’s already scheduled? Thanks ….
Hello, good afternoon Wiiecha.
Injectable contraception is a type of hormonal contraception that aims to delay or regulate pregnancy spacing. There are two types of injection contraception, namely 1-month injection and 3-month injection. To get the optimal effect, the injection of contraceptives must be on time according to the schedule. Therefore, every time an injection family planning is performed, the date of administration must be recorded, including the date (schedule) for the next injection of family planning.
Family planning injections can still be done during menstruation if it coincides with the scheduled date. Birth control injections during menstrual periods have not been proven to cause harmful side effects to the body.
Hope this helps.
